Adilla Amelia is a distinguished filmmaker, educator, and academic leader who currently serves as Head of the Film Department at Bina Nusantara University in Alam Sutera, where she has been shaping the next generation of filmmakers since 2011. With an impressive international background that bridges Hollywood and Indonesian cinema, she brings a unique perspective to film education and production. Her academic credentials include a Master of Fine Arts in Filmmaking from the New York Film Academy, a Certificate in Cinematography from UCLA Extension, and most recently, a Certificate in AI Filmmaking from Curious Refuge (2025), reflecting her commitment to staying at the forefront of emerging technologies in cinema.
As an active researcher, Adilla has published extensively on topics ranging from environmental themes in cinema to the integration of new technologies in filmmaking.
