Adilla Amelia is a filmmaker, educator, and Head of the Film Department at Bina Nusantara University (BINUS), Alam Sutera Campus, where she has taught since 2011. She holds an MFA in Filmmaking from the New York Film Academy. Her extensive industry experience includes extensive work in camera operations and technical film crew roles, alongside positions in directing assistance, production coordination, and editing across feature films, documentaries, commercials, and television projects in both Los Angeles and Jakarta. As a researcher, Adilla publishes on environmental themes and technological adaptation in cinema; her current focus is on how artificial intelligence tools and text generation platforms reshape contemporary narrative construction, visual storytelling, and production workflows.

Her industry experience spans technical camera department responsibilities, cinematography, project coordination within the production department, and post-production editing for feature films, music videos and documentaries in Los Angeles. Additionally, her portfolio includes directing assistance, television editing, and media production coordination for reality television, sitcoms, and corporate projects within the Indonesian entertainment industry.
