Irwanto is a faculty member in the Film Department at Bina Nusantara University, where he specializes in film production. He brings extensive expertise in
both theoretical knowledge and practical production experience to prepare students for careers in the film and media industry.
He holds a doctorate in Communication Studies from Hasanuddin University, which provides him with a strong foundation for his research and teaching
activities. His research interests focus on film, media, and communication studies, and their relationship with adolescent behavior, examining how
audiovisual content influences youth culture and development.
Beyond his academic responsibilities, Irwanto is actively engaged in community service through audiovisual production education that benefits local
communities. His commitment to public engagement demonstrates his dedication to applying academic knowledge for practical societal improvement,
